Booking
On our rental portal, you can search for an apartment that meets your requirements for your desired travel period. Once you have found one, please click on “Booking” to send your booking request. You will then receive a booking confirmation from us.
Please refer to the booking confirmation for details of the payment terms for the deposit and balance. There are no additional costs for a parking space/underground parking space belonging to an apartment.
Arrival
We kindly ask you to contact us 2-3 days before arrival to discuss your arrival and find out your arrival time. On the day of arrival, please come to our office at Bögerende, An der Waterkant 8, between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. If, in exceptional cases, the rental property is not available from 3:00 p.m., the tenant cannot claim any compensation. Arrival after 5:00 p.m. is also possible in consultation with us.
At the Westside Arthotel, check-in takes place between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. directly on site at Hermannstraße 23.
Key handover
Your apartment keys will be handed over at our offices on the day of arrival. Depending on the location of your accommodation, the following office addresses may be relevant for you:

Hermannstraße 23 in 18225 Kühlungsborn, a seaside resort on the Baltic Sea
The keys to the apartments in the Baltic resort of Rerik, in Pepelow, and in Wichmannsdorf are handed over via a key safe at the property. Please contact us 2-3 days before your arrival.
Your apartment will be available from 3:00 p.m. Arrival after 5:00 p.m. is only possible by prior arrangement.
Departure
On the day of departure, the apartment key must be handed over by 10:00 a.m. at the latest. The apartments must be left in a tidy condition, with the trash disposed of and the dishwasher emptied.
Security deposit
No deposit is required. In the event of damage, the tenant is liable for all damage caused by him and/or his fellow travelers to the rental property, the inventory, and the communal facilities, e.g., broken dishes, damage to furniture, lost keys.
Final cleaning
The final cleaning fee depends on the size of the apartment. Interim cleaning is available at an additional cost.
Bed linen & towels
Bed linen and towels can be booked for a fee of €25.00, or guests can bring their own.
Please note that laundry packages are already included at WestSide Arthotel.
Washing machine & dryer
Washing machines and dryers are available for use in some of our vacation properties for a fee. You can find this information in our property or apartment descriptions. There is a laundromat in Kühlungsborn and Bad Doberan.
Length of stay
During peak season, the minimum stay is between 5 and 7 days, during mid-season between 3 and 5 days, and during low season 2 days.
Occupancy of apartments / person
The maximum number of persons specified for the apartments also includes all accompanying children. Additional travel cots can be provided for children under two years of age. The cost for travel cots is a one-time fee of €15.00 each and for high chairs a one-time fee of €12.00 each.
Visitor's tax
Rerik Baltic Sea resort
The visitor’s tax applies in all Mecklenburg Baltic Sea resorts between Boltenhagen and Graal-Müritz.
Children under the age of 18 are exempt from paying visitor’s tax.
The following applies to all other guests:
Off-season September 16–May 14
Adults EUR 0.75/day
Children (up to age 18) free of charge
High season May 15–September 15
Adults EUR 2.00/day
Children (up to age 18) free of charge
Ostseebad Nienhagen
In Nienhagen, the spa tax is levied during the high and low seasons.
It amounts to per person and day of stay:
High season: May 1–August 31:
Adults EUR 1.50 and reduced rate EUR 1.00
Low season: March 15–April 30, September 1–October 31, and December 20–January 5:
Adults EUR 1.00 and reduced rate EUR 0.50
Children up to the age of 13 and severely disabled persons (100%) as well as one accompanying person are exempt from the visitor’s tax. Please ask your landlord or the tourist office about discounts for schoolchildren, students, disabled persons, etc.
Börgerende
In Börgerende, the visitor’s tax is levied during the high and low seasons.
It amounts to per person per day of stay:
High season: May 1 to September 30
Adults and children aged 16 and over: EUR 2.00
Low season: October 1 to April 30.
Adults and children aged 16 and over: EUR 1.00
Children under the age of 16 are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
Kühlungsborn
In Kühlungsborn, the visitor’s tax is levied during the high and low seasons.
It amounts to per person per day of stay:
High season: May 1 to September 30
Adults and children aged 16 and over: EUR 3.00
Low season: October 1 to April 30.
Adults and children aged 16 and over: EUR 1.60
Children under the age of 16 are exempt from the visitor’s tax.
